It is a shame to see old iron die. I've had mine for many years and haven't had the time to work on it. Like most people here its a labour of love when i can get to do a bit with my truck. Now the Australian dollar has moved closer to the American dollar I've just bought lots of parts to get me right back into it. I wont finish mine for years yet, but its nice to spend time occassionally tinkering with it. As none of this has helped you, you'll have to make your own decision of what you really want for this truck.
