I had to drill mine out. It was a very scary process as my skills in that kind of a process are limited. In the end I didn't affect the bore walls at all and it ended on a happy note!
Yep thats what i did. Drilled until there was only about a 16th of a inch left then used a punch.
Be careful when re-installing them as one side of the axle's hole is bigger than the other
