For helping keep this great
old truck web site
on the Internet for over 30 years! and not clogged down with Ads! Again, thanks! | | | | Joined: Sep 2007 Posts: 2,644 Shop Shark | | Shop Shark Joined: Sep 2007 Posts: 2,644 | For as long as I've been on this forum all I've ever heard is one gallon and that's how much I bought.
My plan is to paint the cab, doors and front clip first and then see how I'm doing with paint remaining. If I think I need another quart, I'll just throw it in the can with the leftover paint and do the bed. The separation between the bed and cab will conceal any SLIGHT variation.
I'm painting mine Seacrest Green so paint match isn't as critical as a fancy metallic or pearl and I'm sure the DuPont paint store will do me right on matching their original mix. After all, they do mix paint for collision shops that may only paint a car partially. | | |
