Thanks Tim, I forgot to mention that. I printed this off:

which is one of the service bulletins listed on that page, and took apart my carb hoping to compare numbers, and NONE of them matched, not one.

So...either I have the wrong carb for my year of truck, or the service bulletin shows the part #'s for "assemblies", which probably wouldn't be the same number as just the individual parts themselves....

maybe I'm in denial. (not the river in egypt)

I'll try searching some of the other service bulletins listed on that page...Thanks Tim!
