So, I am looking for some guidance: I have owned a '49 Chevy Sub for 6 years, haven't done much but sand on it and try to figure out where to begin. I recently purchased a '52 GMC Sub that has all of the parts my '49 was in need of, in fact it's in very good condition except for the rust around those gosh darned sliding windows!
Now after looking at a GMC site, I learn(?) that the GMC frame may be different than the Chevy. OH please! tell me it isn't so! I was seriously considering the front saddle swap from the '61-'87 pickup. But now I don't know if the frames are the same.
Any guidance is appreciated!
