Again, thanks! | | | | Joined: Apr 2007 Posts: 88 Shop Shark | | Shop Shark Joined: Apr 2007 Posts: 88 | running great all new rebuild on a 1956 235 in a 1952 1.5 ton dump. 1st time running with a full cooling system and at a idle bang starts poping though the carb with a mis.Great oil pressure had good piston to valve clearance at time of assembly. found #2 intake valve bent with piston contact and a slight contact on #1 intake but not enough to bend. all the other intakes were just fine could the valves have seized in the guide from a full heat to 180deg. the other runs (about 3 hours) were on a hose in the front and bleed out the back. any ideas ? | | |
