For helping keep this great
old truck web site
on the Internet for over 30 years! and not clogged down with Ads! Again, thanks! | | | | Joined: Aug 2009 Posts: 10 New Guy | | New Guy Joined: Aug 2009 Posts: 10 | Finally ready to purchase some rubber for my '51 3100. The truck had been in storage for many, many years before we purchased it this past summer. It has 15" x 8" , what I call "wagon wheels" on it. We finished sandblasting and painting the wheels this past weekend, and now are ready to purchase tires. I'm not going for originality on this truck. Can anyone recommend a tire size that will fit, and look good on this truck? I'm thinking maybe a 245/60 on the rear and a 225/65 or 215/65 on the front. What sizes are other folks out there running? Any suggestions and pictures esp., would be appreciated.
