Get a HEI dist, w/all the guts and a dist cap w/the coil which will go in the top of the cap along w/the plug wires. To install is just like replacing the stock point dist. THIS VIDEO should help you even though it is for a V8 w/installing. Cost?? You can find them they on ebay using "chevy 6 distributor" in the search BUT be sure NOT to get a 2.8 or 4.3 V6 dist. they will NOT work, or at your local boneyard or parts house.
