| | | | Joined: May 2006 Posts: 8,351 'Bolter | | 'Bolter Joined: May 2006 Posts: 8,351 | GM EOS (available from AC/Delco dealers or local GM dealer parts dept) or Comp Cams break in lube on the cam. Use liberally, along with assembly lube on the bearings. You may also disassemble the rocker shaft and coat it with assembly lube before you install it. Then take the cover off the oil pump and pack the gears with some wheel bearing grease. This will help the pump make more suction at startup so it'll pull the oil up faster. Make sure to add another bottle of break inlube before you do initial startup.
