#57785 03/16/2006 2:56 AM | Joined: Mar 2006 Posts: 55 Wrench Fetcher | | Wrench Fetcher Joined: Mar 2006 Posts: 55 | would anyone happen to have the spec for the acceptable compression for a 1962 (Biscayne) 235 , my gut feeling is that it's a bit on the low side: 1- 80psi 2- 70psi 3- 65psi 4- 70psi 5- 75psi 6- 75psi tha engine has been sitting since '85 and only started a few tiimes since , I ran it for about 15 minutes last May. I conducted the compression test dry (ie. without squirting oil into the cylinders) thanks again | | |
