Many years ago I spent a good amount of time in the parts business, both retail and wholesale. I learned early on that you can't please everyone all the time. Personalities are just what they are and granted some people should not be in the service end of the business. That being said, I always try to be patient with the person behind the counter. Who knows what the last customer did or what the significant other said as a parting shot that morning. The old saying "You catch more flies with honey than vinager" still applies today. If your having trouble with a sales person you can always ask for a supervisor. It sounds like Ben knows how to conduct his business and do as he suggests and ask for one of the Jacks when you call. Remember not everyone is an expert on old trucks and the description of the part your giving might just be confusing to the best of them. I personally have never ordered from them but only because I have access to many outlets locally. I would not be afraid to order today if I needed to. They are great to our members and they deserve our support.
