i tried to make one of those tools that are pictured in the shop manual before i removed one years ago. it didn't work right because i didn't know what it really needed to do. i agree you can't have too many tools and i have had some i def couldn't have removed with my hands partly because the tin part is smooth and usually greasey. when i remove one with pliars it can nick it a little so if you can make the tool go for it. don't forget to show us like your grease cap installer. hr
