A 2-3 inch square of each is plenty. I found that the nylon sample had held up fairly well against color change but that the vinyl has a tendency to change a lot due to the sun etc. My thanks still go out to Stovebolter "Tommy" who was able to provide me with samples since mine had been looong gone.
I was curious when you mentioned your truck was painted Tartan Turquoise as I thought the blue colored nylon might be what you needed. Got my Dealer Data Book out and found the Beige/Charcoal is the correct color though.
