Again, thanks! | | | | Joined: Sep 2006 Posts: 841 Shop Shark | | Shop Shark Joined: Sep 2006 Posts: 841 | i have to say i like your attitude- "crappy v8 violation" smart move with going with the 292! if your truck has the v8 now the bell housing and everything else should work. you only have to worry about that pass side for the 292. i haven't noticed on the 60 to 62 if they have the holes for the 292 mount. i have done this swap several times in 63 to 66 trucks and can tell you you will have to get a specific 292 perch and the 2 7/8" spacers for the bottom 2 bolts. i think the motor mount and block bracket will work from another late model six. the drivers side is the same. | | |
