I debated what to do with the wheels on our 55 1st series 4400. We made the decision to stay origional. I am assuming that they are the same as yours.
No tire shop is going to touch these wheels. BUT - the heavy duty on site tractor tire guys have no problem with them. They do them all the time (many tractors and machinery that are still in use hail from the time period of these wheels). Just give one in your area a call and I bet you'll have no problem getting him to come out.
FYI - we had all 6 tires (70 50 20's) installed on site for $1200.
