A few days ago I used those HF discs (that I bought on-sale for less than @$1) to cut spring-hanger heavy u-bolts (using a 10 year old $8 4" HF electric grinder (
a little like this unit)).
This is the first time I have used those discs - they worked great. After quickly/smoothly cutting 8 bolts, there is almost no wear showing on the disc.
