To remove drivetrain.....drop rear spring shackles,leave tires on, unbolt spring to diff mounts, unbolt enclosed driveshaft from transmission and roll the driveshaft/diff out the back. I prefer to separate the transmission from the engine before pulling. Both are heavy and combined you'd have to do some major twisting with nearly 900 pounds of iron on the end of the hook. Why take a chance? Separate!
