This truck is back up in the woods so I have just been driving back to it to work. So not hauling many tools.

How come on the running truck the timing mark doesn't seem right? I marked the bb in the flywheel, and hook a light to the very front cyl, #1 right?, even playing with the advance knob I never see the mark thru the hole.

When I put the mark in the hole, the dist is past #1 and almost centered on #5 (front to back) mon both trucks. the one fires right up, the other seems to try but never really hits.
I'm gonna try to get a book this weekend and read up.
