I just got done reading most of what I found in a search on here and now would like some advice on how to proceed.
My clutch is chattering pretty bad some times pulling out in 1st. I have tried all manors of approaches and is still getting to the point of driving me crazy. Since the engine rebuild it has be chattering. The motor mounts are all new from the rebuild, 3-4 years old then. I resurfaced the flywheel and replaced the clutch about 6-7 months ago hopeing to elimanate the problem. It got better, but was not fixed. I was not able to replace the pilot bearing at the time. (I think thats my problem) I also believe that it is not an oil contamination issue.
How should I proceed? Can I fix the problem with just a replacement of the pilot bearing? Or should I replace that, the friction plate and resurface again ect...?
