I am in the process of rebuilding the 350 for my '70 GMC and am trying to find a good carb for it. I still have the stock Q-jet, but have been told that this is not a good choice. I have had others tell me that I might also want to look into a 2 barrel carb instead of a 4 barrel. This engine has been rebuilt as a torque monster with 320 horsepower, power is not an issue. I was thinking of trying to find something more along the lines of less fuel sucking, and less cost. The dude who told me to chuck the Q-jet is telling me to get a Holley 600, which is currently not in any projected budget.
