It sat for 10 years, rust in the usual spots, 283 v8 (which I believe was an option in '66), 3 on the tree, bed wood completely gone. Very original even down to the bench seat and shocks! I paid $1000 for it...after I got it running. I looked for around 2 years for a 60's 4wd pickup, and I only found 2 in decent condition..one of which I bought! I too fell in love with the '60s 4wd look!
