Finally started the NAPCO 4x4 conversion on my '50 Chevy 6100 yesterday. I'm taking the set-up out of my '54 6400. I've got the trucks parked side by side, so I can swap out the running gear and keep both trucks rolling. For those who attended the junkyard tour this past winter, I took the trucks to Frankies because he has every tool I could possibly need. Got the rear axle swapped out and mounted today... hoping to start on the front tomorrow. It would be great to have it complete enough for the Winchester show, but I doubt that's happening.
