2 months ago I bought an old 1933 1.5 ton Chevy truck with a Wood Hoist Dump Bed (still works). It runs (barely) and has all it's parts, though some of the interior wood has rotted away. The truck was originally employed by the American River Sand & Gravel Co. in Sacramento, CA and moved to a walnut orchard nearby and sat in the barn there until 1987. The previous owner bought it then & got it running again, but did no restortation, so that's where I come in. I plan to restore it to original condition, and have done a little bit of sanding, priming and tune-up parts and replaced the tires so far. Looks like I will find lots of good info & help here.
Anyone else here have a Wood dump bed?
