I looked throughout the forum to see if these particular questions had been asked but couldn't find anything.
I removed the factory rivets from the front cross member where they bolt to the chasis to remove rust and do repairs. 3/8 bolts will go back in once they are painted and ready for reassembly.
(see pic) Should these bolts be Grade 5 or Grade 8? Should the hardware holding the cross member to the chasis be Grade 8 as well? I have the Factory Assembly Manual but it does not disclose this info. It only shows torque specs.
Last question:
Is there any way to decipher the part numbers that are called out in the Factor Assembly Manual. example: part number:3762206 - Bolt. I'm hoping to find out more info on that bolt! 3/8" x 2" etc.....As always, thanks all.
