The lip of the seal is offset from its normal contact point so it seals against a different part of the balancer sealing surface. How ever that is a mute point since he said he already have installed a Speedi-Sleeve. I'm not even sure if you can find them anymore Joe, but it doesn't hurt to look or ask. Chicago Rawhide might still make them.
