Hello, I am the member who asked on 7-26 if I could remove and replace a piston by dropping the oil pan. '57 261 L6 engine. From the responses I removed the oil pan and the head and found a problem piston. It has taken me a while, but I have a new piston. I have been using the old car online manuals for torque values and instructions, but a value is not listed for the pinch bolt. Does anyone have a value. Thanks, you have already been a great help, I can't wait to get the truck going again.
