I bought one of the bolt-in C.E. Crossmembers when I was going to put a SBC in my '50 3100. Finding a decent 292 changed my plans so I'm not sure if I will use it or stay with the straight axle. Did a lot of research and couldn't find any major issues with them. To my untrained eye the crossmember looks very well built.
