a post in the parts wanted section here for a 47-55 heater, particularly a deluxe version could turn one up - there were heaters made back then specifically for the praire farmers, had seperate fans for cab heat and defrost, and a variable temp control .... could also look at modern aux truck heaters, smaller and neater

these .... would better reflect on your abilities and taste when the neighbors admire the truck
of course new aftermarket would need 12v for the fan, but changing either the truck to 12v or the fan motor to 6v is easy enough
