| | | | Joined: Sep 2001 Posts: 29,269 Bubba - Curmudgeon | | Bubba - Curmudgeon Joined: Sep 2001 Posts: 29,269 | Before 1954, the lighter was not fused and the lead wire was attached to the tail-lamp lead on the light switch (which I think had an overloads cut-out). In 1954, the lighter was attached to the battery lead on the ignition switch. The installation diagram does not show a fuse - I put an in-line fuse in mine (as Bill suggests, above). | | |
