This has been covered before many times, a search may bring up the answers.

The short answer is:
1/2, 3/4, and 1 ton have the same sheet metal with exception of bed and running board lengths (which should be obvious).

1.5 and 2 ton trucks have identical sheet metal and only cabs and doors are the same between big and small
trucks.

COE trucks are a different critter yet.
