Yes, I am a new guy to the site. I just bought a 66 C20 with a 250 I6. I couldn't make it run right and stay running, so I pulled the distributor and discovered about a mile of side ti side wobble in the distributor shaft! Are there any other compatible models of this unit in newer trucks, or am I stuck with this year? I just got a pertronix conversion for it, so the points will go bye bye anyway. Th carb leaks like a sieve so that will have to go, it's a Rochester 1 barrel with manual choke. Again, are there newer trucks with a two barrel manifold and carb I could use? Lastly, my bench seat is shot. Are the bolt patterns the same for Chevy trucks? I have several local junkyards to peruse if there are others that will fit. I don't have a show truck on my hands, just a good old work truck. Thanks for any help you can offer. Josh in Everett, WA | | |
