Thanks for the quick replies guys. I thought the blog was getting long winded so I left out the master cyl overhaul and the new ignition switch.
so the brakes work - but I have no plans to leave them alone. I see you can get the power brakes for about $200. I figure it won't cost that much to just redo all 4 corners. The wheel cyls are only about $20 each & the new lines will be pretty cheap. I bet I could do the whole job for less than $400. That is a ton cheaper than an ol' ladys caddy bumper.
Bismark - good school - I was also 89 but I can't remember if I knew anyone from Bismark.
Anyway - I'm glad to be up and running - I am on vacation this week so I will get lots of wrench time!
