#55818 01/31/2006 2:32 PM | Joined: May 2005 Posts: 86 'Bolter | | 'Bolter Joined: May 2005 Posts: 86 | being that the starter ring gears between the 6v and 12v are different diameters, does that mean that the bell housing starter motor LOCATION for a 216(6v) is different than the bell housing starter location for a later model 235(12v).
I know that the bell housing.motor mounting is the same but the motor to frame mounts might not be.
