I recived 2 261 head gaskets from Tom Langdon today.
To my surprise they are different.

One is what I expected, the other one is asymetric.

What I mean is: If you look at it from top and have cyl. #1 an the left.

Below the 6 cylinder cutouts/holes are the 7 water holes. This is the pattern:

#1 0.77 in
#2 0.77 in
#3 1.23 in
#4 0.77 in
#5 1.23 in
#6 0.77 in
#7 0.77 in

On the second gasket I have is this:

#1 0.25 in
#2 no hole eek
#3 0.25 in
#4 no hole eek
#5 1.23 in
#6 0.77 in
#7 0.77 in

have you ever seen such a gasket?
Can I use it on my 261? Any reasons for the different patterns?
