Wheels don't effect ride quality. On the load capacity, you'll need to make sure that the tires are rated to carry at least the weight of the truck plus passengers. I've seen tires fail due to not having proper cpacity to carry even the empty truck. In one particular case, low profile tires on a 3/4 ton '72. All 4 tires failed within a month. The tires were intalled at the customers request, even though he was warned that they were insufficient load cpapacity.
Please use caution, and make sure of the capacities and also maintain proper tire pressures, as they might need to run higher to carry the load.
