I believe the black paint was sort of a satin gloss, or at least that is what I have seen. As far as the color of the bowtie on the front I believe (but I'm not positive) that for 6 cylinder trucks it was painted black and for the V8's it was painted an orangy red. I'm hoping my response will cause someone to chime in with a more definite answer as I could be wrong. My front emblem currently has no paint on it so I wound be interested in finding out about this too. | | |
