filler doesn't need shaking, just a stir when you start using it ... in my experience ALL filler is sticky when you first start working it, which is why the first thing to use is a body file or rasp, as soon as it's set enough to not smear, shave it lightly to get the shape you want so you don't have big ridges and lumps to take off as dust - then use a hand block lightly with coarse paper when it's dried 15-30 minutes, and power after that - even then expect stickiness, but if you don't try to go too fast, a wire brush knocks the lumps off the paper - once it's all sanded over a bit and really dry there won't be a problem - just the way life is
