| | | | Joined: Feb 2002 Posts: 12,029 Cruising in the Passing Lane | | Cruising in the Passing Lane Joined: Feb 2002 Posts: 12,029 | welcome to the garage John, we'll help clear the fog - the terms apply to the container and hookup configuration not necessarily the cartridge, if it doesn't have a one in the can, measure it and get one that fits, there are a number of different "bypass" type filters, and likely a variety of "full flow" possible, but the design of the oil flow in the engine doesn't dictate what filter fits the can
