So I got sick of trying to get the tie rod ends on My 52 apart and than got it all blasted and went to install the new parts and there I am with this BIG screwdriver putting the new parts in the tie rods I thought there has to be a better way to do this the book says to screw it down to stop and than back it up to the frist pin hole , so I built a tie rod tool today and it made it go great .
Took a 19 mm 3/8 drive sockit and cut a pc. of 3/16 steel same width as the tie rod end bolt to fit in the slot and as long as the inside of the sockit + 3/4 inch than took the steel pc.slid it into the socket and weilded it to the sockit on the two sides and now all I gotto do is use a 3/8 rachit and adjusting and replacing tie rod and control arm ends parts are EASY.
