1951 gauge cluster sets with original-style temperature gauge and gas-filled capillary-tube sender are available for trucks. From whom did you get your automobile gauge cluster?
Was an electrical temperature sender used on the original 1951 automobile gauge? If the capillary-tube sender was also standard in the 1951 automobile, you need to get sender information from whomever you bought the gauge.
