captodaport, i bought a rearend mounting kit from the now defunct butchs rod shop in dayton yrs ago,never installed it. came with shocks, mounts,spring perchs and centering plates to align the rear end. the plates are pretty simple they are 1/2thick 1 3/4 wide(same as the stock spring) and5 1/2 long from either end measure 3/4 " in drill 1/2 hole from same end measure in 2" drill another1/2 hole cut a 1" piece of 1/2" round bar and stick in second hole. these are your plates. set first hole over bolt on spring,set rear end on top of plate using 1/2" round bar as alocator pin for rear end bolt on your u bolts and it should be good to go . now like i said ,i never installed this kit .my project was stalled for yrs and over that time decided to do a whole upgrade on the rear hope this helps.......dave
