The AACA has a "Historical Preservation of Original Feature s (HPOF) Class"

My point is the club is based in PA, and they encourage folks to show and drive original vehicles as is without restoration. They should have some advice on getting a nice original truck registered in PA, if you need to give the office a call and see what they recommend.
They also have a forum where you may get some advice.
