I've been on the lookout for a 3804 for some time and my Dad finally found me one in a barn in NC.
Photos here.It's a '49, but the cab has been replaced with a '52 or '53. The Body tag is gone, so I can't pin down the year exactly.
The 216 is a replacement or some type of reman. The pad behind the distributor is blank and the engine has blue paint with no signs of original gray paint. The head checks out as a 1950 216.
All in all, its a solid truck with no rust through anywhere. Now I've got something to drive while I finish my '52 3600 frame off re-build!
