I do with my old jalopies what I feel like doing without any regard to resale value. If you ever get into a position of having to sell at a distress sale, you are going to lose money. Its your vehicle and fix it to what pleases you. If you sell and lose money, at least you can look back and say "I did it my way and enjoyed it." In my opinion that is what its all about.
