Seen that muffler explosion several times over my career, might get expensive, I would get that ignition interuption fixed.
Battery explosion are a lot my dangerous to technicians, shrapnel, flames, acid and fumes. Not to mention the damage to the vehicle paint job and test equipment. I had a new battery blow on me in 1982 during a SUN ELECTRIC VAT 40 load test procedure. The customer's car was a mess afterwards.........I thought I was back in Nam!!
