liljay, I'm no mechanic but I can tell you what I did. I took the knee shocks and front axle off my 48 3/4 and then I put a 52 half ton front axle on my 3/4 frame. I simply mounted the tube shock on the lower shock mount from the 52 axle then extended it up all the way beside the frame. I then cut the front shock mounts off the 52 half ton frame and set each one on top of the tube shocks. I pushed the shocks back down a little until it was beside the frame and measured from the front of the upper shock mount to the front of the frame and both measured the same. I then drilled holes in the frame by putting the drill directly in the holes of the upper shock mounts where the rivets used to be. Then I bought some grade 8 bolts and bolted the upper mounts to the frame. It looks good and I do not forsee any problems. I have not tackled the rear yet. I hope I explained it well enough for you. If not holler at me! You could by a complete setup from Jim Carter but it is rather pricey. I am building a budget truck though. oz
