maybe should have titled it in praise of cheap tools.alot of them are crap but once in awhile you find a gem.in 1977 i was 18,gettin ready to graduate from a vo-tech school.always on the look out for tools.a local dept store ws closing its doors and was selling off.i bought a 40pc made in JAPAN tap and die set for $7 and change.figureing if i use it once its paid for itself.in the 30 plus years i've had it i cannot tell you how many times i have used it and how many times its bailed me out me out of a situation.getting ready to drill and tap my frame for line clamps.just made me think of it.once in awhile you find a good one.......dave
