I just got an update from the tech guy at Jim Carter. He tells me that REME378 Rochester carb for 1954-59 Chev 235 and 261 is no longer availible. The REME637 for 1960-62 235 and 261 is $150 + $30 core.
What is the difference in these carbs? Will I notice any difference if I put a '235' carb on my 261 ( stock rebuild )?
