Hy ApachePride, are you reassembling after a teardown/cleaning/painting, or are you assembling some parts new to the truck? Your backing plates must be mounted perpendicular to your spindle, they must not be twisted, they must be well supported, and tight, your life and the lives of those around you on the road depend on their proper installation, hope that helps.
