The "848" head is the most desirable 235 head that at some point around '56 or '57 became the standard head for all '53+ 235's.
The 3708134 PG transmission case with the 3719240 "2nd design" housing is from a '55-'57 6-cyl. passenger car. '56 was stated, and the date codes confirm that year. I don't know the difference between the 1st and 2nd design 6-cyl. PG housings, but they both should bolt up to the 235.
